"Nobody cares about me... No one notices the troubles I go through; no one ever gives me a minute... No one is ever there... No one, no one..." We hear such words on a daily basis. Individuals always expect everyone and everything to stop, pay attention to their troubles and even offer them solutions. Of course it is essential to open up to others and share one's troubles. Furthermore, it is said that a problem shared is a problem solved.
Trials and tribulations are part of life. Everyone goes through them. Yes life is hard, but no one ever said that it would be easy. Upon one's entry into this world, no one promised anyone a smooth life. If no one signed a contract with you offering a smooth, hustle free life, then what justification does one have to warrant the world stopping and heeding their cries? Tough as it may sound, it unfortunately is true. As it is said, "the world, cannot, will not, should not and does not stop to heed your cries."
Complaining never got anyone anywhere. Constant cries do not bear solutions. All one will get from their constant cries is pity and/or indifference. Steve Pavlina asserts thus, "People who complain trap themselves in a reality that constantly gives them more to complain about. Life keeps harshing on them." He further points out that complaining is addictive. The more one does it, even within your own mind, the more it becomes an ingrained habit and the harder it is to stop.
The law of attraction states that one attracts what they think about. Thus negative thoughts and complaints beget a negative lifestyle. Complaining and lashing out at everyone in the hopes of gaining recognition and/or pity is thus useless.
Individuals should thus cease complaining and instead direct their energies towards seeking solutions for their problems. Instead of complaining or lamenting about the harsh realities and unfairness of today, individuals should instead think of solutions to the said problems as the world will still move on inspite of your tribulations.
